"Alaskan" odessey is finished

We are home in Deltona, FL, arrived here on Thursday, August 11, 2005 mid afternoon.
We traveled almost 3,000 miles from Yellowstone and Moab, UTah to FL.

Did not do much sighseeing, only "windshield" viewing on the way home. We don't spend as much time "hanging out" in a motel room as we did in the RV.

The RV is all cleaned out, everything from it is sorted, put away, merged in, or thrown out. The "waste management" will need a whole truck just for us. Now we will get to selling the motorhome. We will take a big loss emotionally and financially!

I posted today pictures from WA state. I will post a few each day so as not to overwhelm the blog. Next will be into Canada to Chiliwick, BC and Minter Gardens, then Hope, BC home of the chainsaw carvings, Hell's Gate and on into Kamloops, BC and then Jasper, Alberta and the fabulous, however CROWDED Canadian Rockies.

Along the route from Hope to Hell's Gate on TransCanada #1, we saw a bear cub cross the road in front of us. No time to get out the camera. Then again, from Kamploops, BX to Jasper, on TransCanada #5, we saw a bigger bear. We also saw a Grizzly and black bear in Banff, they were playing and muching on the bushes. The grizzly looked right at us, but I still did not catch him on film.

This is not the end of our jouneys, we will continue by car, Cruise???, Plane???

This journey was awesome, so many places and sights and learning. Starting in BigBend, TX, on to ....memories keep reminding us.
