4 days on the road again

The motorhome was picked up on Thursday to be driven back to Deltona, FL.
We took off by car and got as far as Klamath Falls, OR for the first night.

Friday we headed up to Bend, OR, stopping at a logging museum on the way.
Stopped at the High Desert musuem in Bend. The eastern side of the Cascades is very desert like.
Beautiful mountains, with snow, outside Bend - the three sisters, Mt Bachelor, etc.

Saturday we went up to Mount Hood and stopped at the Timberland Lodge. From there we went on the "fruit loop" to the Columbia River Gorge. Oregon has FANTASTIC fruit.

Today, Sunday we crossed into Washington and visited Mount St Helens. This was fascinating. Now, we can see Mount Ranier! and just visited the capitol in Olympia.

Motorhome off ebay!

We decided to cancel our ebay ad and not sell the Motorhome in California.
We will now procede in getting it transported back to FL.

We will continue on our journey in the Honda, starting in OR and WA and up to Canada and Banff National Park.

The weather is forcasted for 107 degrees and higher here in Redding. We want to get out of here.

I was very successful in my first attempts on ebay, selling our portable Fantastic 12 volt fan, the Huges autoformer, and my MILEPOST for AK. Now we have pictures and descriptions all set to sell the MH when we get back to FL.

Trip to Oregon Coast

We went over hwy 299 from Redding to Eureka, CA - boy was it a trip, windy, steep, not FL roads.
Then we toured redwoods SP and many redwood groves. We stopped at the Trees of Mystery in Klamath, CA (this is where the pictures are of Paul Bunyon and Babe.
When you go by Paul, he talks to you, could not figure out where he was talking from - anyone know??

We stayed in Cresent City and then traveled the coast up to Florence. It was very foggy and rainy - made for awesome coloring, but not good for seeing! The Sea Lion caves were in complete fog, in Florence, where we could not even see the water from the shore. This was a place I had wanted to see,...well, next time.

When we returned "home" to Redding, I met with a certified eBay instructor and he spent a few hours explaning "tricks" of listing on ebay and helped me list a few items. We have the motor home ready to list tomorrow to sell. Wish us luck!!!
