A Week has Passed

It has been a week now since the motorhome went. Loan paid, insurance canceled, RV Clubs canceled...

Life is getting full with different adventures.
We already have reservations for Christmas time at Shades of Green, the Disney military resort, and tickets to 3 local theaters for Sept.and Oct.
In addition, at least 20 doctors appointments!...
Jerry had his 3rd surgery on the right eye, detached retina, which is recovering...

Honda was washed and waxed and finally got off the red clay from Monument Valley and Canyonlands, Utah! and had wheels aligned, again.
Had manicure, pedicure, facial, maassage, hair cuts and all those great routine things.

We are enjoying a beautiful sunny weekend in Central FL, with power and air conditioning, and thankful we dodged a hit from or any affects of Hurricane Katrina.

End of the Motorhome journey

We sold our motorhome. RobbinsCampers in Ormond Beach bought it and picked it up yesterday. It is very sad and also a relief to have it sold.

Jerry will need a third retinal eye surgery on Tuesday. He hopes to get some improved vision with it.

We are exploring motel traveling! Any hints and tips?

And a look at the buffalo about to (unknowinly) fall off the cliff.
post 72204

Here is a storyboard of the jump.
post 72204

The cliff that was used for rounding up the buffalo and leading them here to jump to their death. Just enough buffalo were rounded up for the tribe to use and they used every part of each buffalo.
post 72204

This is a UNESCO site - very interesting. It is ranked with the pyramids as a history site, because this cliff was used by the ancients to trap and kill the buffalo for their food, clothing, etc.
