River Plantation RV Park, Sevierville, TN

Our site at River Plantaion. Nice roomy sites, most were paved, except ours, as we arrived without a reservation on a busy, leaf viewing, Fall weekend.

Museum of the Cherokee Indian, NC

The Museum of the Cherokee Indian in Cherokee,NC.
I wonder -
"Is this statue one of Peter ""Wolf"" Toth's carvings?".
He has honored Indians is each state. The wood carved
totem pole Indians are commonly referred to as the
Trail of the Whispering Giants.
Do you know about these wood carvings?

Smoky Mountain National Park

We left Gatlinburg and headed into Smoky Mountain National Park to
Cherokee, NC.
You can see from the clouds in the picture how the smokies get there
name. Visibility was zero. Visibiity had not cleared on the afternoon
return trip to Gatlinburg.
