Redding, CA
We are staying in Redding for a while. It will get very hot here!! however there are stores and shopping, restaurants. We will stay put over July4 and see how Jerry's eyes improve. We will do day trips in the area.
Today we visited McArthur-Burney Falls. There was a huge primary waterfall and smaller falls were cascading all over the place. Picture later
Then we went on to Lassen Volcanic National Park. As we got close, we saw the majestic Lassen Peak covered in snow. The sign on the highway said the road through the park was closed!!! We went in anyway and they had just opened 10 miles of road to the Devistated area. It was amazing to see the huge rocks that had come out of the volcano.
