Lake Mead Recreation area
It is hard to get a glimpse of the Colorado River. When we do, it is beautiful and very bluish green. Water flows fast and I am told it is COLD.
We went up to Laughlin, NV, which has lots of casinos and then to Davis Dam and looked at Davis Campground and Katherine's Landing.
Looking at routes to head north from here. Anyone have any ideas if we take SR 395 from Barstow, CA and then up to Crater Lake via Susanville, CA and Klamath Falls, OR?
