Silver River State Park
This weekend we camped at Silver River SP. This FL state park has huge sites, mostly pull throughs. The park is just behind Silver Springs nature theme park in Ocala. We went here to see George Jones perform on Saturday.
Silver Springs
The concert was a zoo. The day threatened rain, luckily none came. George Jones did not do songs we knew and wanted! and his voice was weak.
The zoo at Silver Springs has a wonderful variety of bears. They were fun to watch being fed, swimming in their pond, and playing in the area. Two of the bears had faces like raccoons! I did not get their types. The two grizzles were as cute as the picture in the Silver Springs ad.
Sunday AM we enjoyed breakfast at Carmichael's, which was recommended by the park ranger.
Gloria drove the Motorhome home.
